An independent games label

Worlds you have to survive.

TPMT Games is the games label of ThePostModernTruth. We make games with weight: lived-in places, survival you can feel in your hands, and crews you can lose.

Halden: The Cordon

A top-down survival game set in Halden, a coastal city sealed for fourteen months. Everyone else wanted out. You drove in.

A lone survivor in a hooded coat walks towards a concrete wall marked N-08, a searchlight cutting through the rain and the sick gathering in the dark.

Fourteen months after a fever sealed the city, the Cordon waves you in. Search what people left behind, keep a body that fails part by part, and stay quiet: the sick hunt by sound.

A burning car lights a dark street while a survivor watches from the far side.
Fire in the street
A survivor fires down a dark road, the sick closing in from the right.
Firefight at night
Four survivors in a street, each in their own colour, rifles up.
A crew of four

A distinction that matters

Made with AI, not by AI.

Building a game with AI is not the same as asking an AI for a game. Halden: The Cordon is more than a million lines of code, directed, tested and played by a person one milestone at a time. A single prompt does not make a game like this.

Made by AI

One prompt.

  • One request, one result. Nobody decides what the game is.
  • Nobody plays it, so nobody corrects it.
  • It stays as small as the first answer was.

It can give you a prototype. It is not how we work.

Made with AI

A director, and a team of agents.

  • A person decides what the game is, and what it is not.
  • Every feature is asked for, reviewed and corrected by hand.
  • Every milestone is played before the next one begins.
  • More than eleven thousand automated tests keep it honest as it grows.

How we make games

Small team. Large ambition.

One director, an AI team and a lot of care. We build big, systemic games and we are honest about how.

01

One person directs

A single developer decides what each game is, asks for every feature, plays every build and sends back what is not right. Nothing ships that was not reviewed by a person.

02

Built with AI, in the open

The code is written with Claude, working as a team of agents. We say so everywhere, and the studio page lists exactly what AI made and what people made.

03

Made to last

Over eleven thousand automated tests keep a very large game honest, and our own tools show how every part connects before anything is changed.

The workshop

Tools we built ourselves.

A game this size is a lot of code, so we made UrbanGraph: our own app that reads the whole game and shows how every part connects, what a change would reach and which tests cover it. It is made for one game and is not for download.

  • What breaks if… Every change starts with what uses it, what it reaches and what tests it.
  • Always current. The index is read again from the code every minute.

The label

From ThePostModernTruth.

TPMT is ThePostModernTruth: an AI persona band whose lyrics are written by people and whose music is made with AI tools. TPMT Games is its games label, and the same hands make both.
